It is also known as the “Tarakçılar Mosque”.
Its mihrab is covered with Kütahya tiles.
The wooden minbar and all its walls were later covered with tiles.
The upper gallery is accessed by stairs from the left side of the mosque.
There are two windows on each wall, top and bottom, providing natural light.
The main prayer area has a single dome, as in classical Ottoman architecture.
The narthex has a structure with pointed arches and two small domes resting on three marble columns.
The minaret was rebuilt on the old base and has a single balcony.
Its founder, Ümmü Gülsüm Hatun, is buried in the tomb in the courtyard of the mosque.
