- Changes after its construction
By 1924, the mosque had fallen into ruin
In 1975, it was rebuilt by philanthropists on its remaining walls, and the fountain was moved back during the repair
The double bathhouse located behind the mosque was demolished long ago and has not survived to the present day.
- Prominent features
The material used was rubble stone, the roof was made of wood, the minbar was also made of wood, and the mihrab was made in the form of a niche embedded in the wall
It is a building with a single minaret and a single balcony
The graves of the mosque trustees and Raufi Seyyid Ahmed Efendi are located in the graveyard
Sinan Pasha had Mimar Davud Agha build not only this mosque but also his other mosques in Kasımpaşa and Kulaksız
The inscriptions have not survived to the present day, and attempts are being made to determine its history through foundation records
Among the neighborhoods, baths, fountains, and other structures built by Sinan Pasha, only certain parts of the mosque and its fountain have been preserved
Sinan Pasha, after whom the mosque was named, died on April 3, 1596 and was buried in his tomb in Divanyolu.
