  • The school was constructed during the early Republican period by the Ministry of Education’s Construction Office.
  • Restoration works were carried out in the 2020–2021 period.
Prominent Features:
  • Both the Cibali district and the school are named after Cebe Ali Bey, who is said to have been one of Mehmed the Conqueror’s important commanders and the first commander of the Cebeci Corps, responsible for weapons logistics.
  • Located in one of the most famous neighborhoods along the Golden Horn in the historic Istanbul Peninsula, the school is currently used for educational purposes under the name Fatih Cibali Secondary School.
