  • It underwent a comprehensive restoration process between 2015 and 2019.
  • By the decision of the Council of Foundations dated 5 June 2017, the tekke and its complementary parts were allocated to a foundation to be used for services in line with their purpose.
  • The building was used as the headquarters of the İnsan ve İrfan Foundation, to which it had been allocated, between 2017 and 2024.
Prominent Features:
  • It is also known as Kocamustafapaşa Âsitânesi and Merkez Sufi Lodge.
  • The Sufi Lodge is the central dervish lodge of the Khalwatiyya and is accepted as the Sufi Lodge where the Khalwati ritual was first performed in Istanbul.
  • The Sufi Lodge bears the identity of an âsitâne associated with Sünbül Sinan (Yusuf Sünbül Sinan); Sünbül Sinan died in 1529 and was buried in the graveyard of the Sufi Lodge after the funeral prayer led by Kemalpaşazade.
  • The Sufi Lodge cells and the courtyard-graveyard layout associated with them are among the main components that carry the character of the külliye’s tariqah settlement into the present day.
