Changes After Construction:
Construction of the building began in 1896, was completed in 1899, and it was opened for worship in 1902.
In the narthex of the church, there is a holy spring attributed to Saint Catherine.
Prominent Features:
The church belongs to the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Istanbul.
The building was constructed in the Neo-Byzantine and Neo-Renaissance styles.
The church has a closed Greek cross plan; it was built of finely cut stone, and round-arched bell towers are located at its corners.
The grave of Metropolitan Germanos of Kadıköy is in the church garden.
The name “Triada” means the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (the Holy Trinity) in Christianity.
