Changes After Construction:
  • The building was consecrated by Bishop Bonetti on 1 May 1890.
  • In 1892, two side wings were added; the left wing was arranged as a chapel dedicated to Saint Augustine.
  • Between 1890 and 1914, the building was used successively as a novitiate house, a scholasticate house, and a student house.
  • The building was used as a hospital between 1914 and 1919.
  • Between 1895 and 1914, the building functioned as a seminary; this small-scale seminary use continued until the Second World War.
  • The chapel was extensively renovated in 2012–2013.
  • In 1982, the building was leased as part of a sports facility.
