Changes After Construction
The mosque, which had fallen into disrepair over time, was rebuilt and opened for worship in accordance with the original with the help of the public and the mosque’s association between 1970 and 1975.
During this renovation, its wooden roof and magnificent structure were preserved.

It is also known as Acemoğlu Masjid.
The mosque is built with a wooden roof and as an elevated structure. There is a fountain on the lower floor. The mihrab is marble, the minbar and the preacher’s pulpit are wooden. The entrance door is along the wall, and there is a women's section with wooden railings on 4 concrete pillars.
On the left wall there are two windows at the top and two at the bottom; on the right wall there are three windows at the top and three at the bottom.
Its minaret is on the street on the left side of the mosque and its entrance is on the left inside the prayer hall.
Its minbar was built by the Anatolian Kazasker (Military Judge), Şeyhzade Mehmed Effendi. Its benefactor, Acem Hüseyin Efendi, was responsible for providing materials such as broadcloth, cloth and muslin as the chief merchant in the Ottoman palace.
