This notice has been prepared by the Istanbul Governorship in its capacity as the data controller, pursuant to Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (the Law) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform.

Purpose of Processing Personal Data

Information such as your IP address, the pages you visit, and the time of your visit are collected when you browse this site and are processed to generate statistical data.
If you send us a message from the Contact page, your identity and contact details will be processed for corporate communication purposes.
If you grant location permission to use the Explore page or feature, your location data will be processed to show you the nearest registered cultural heritage sites and routes.

Cookie Usage on Our Portal

First-party cookies: First-party cookies are placed directly by the website you visit, i.e. the address shown in the browser’s address bar. Only first-party cookies are used on our website.

Transfer of Processed Personal Data

Your personal data is not shared with any third parties or institutions, except for judicial or administrative authorities where we are legally required to do so. No personal data is transferred abroad.
