Prominent Features:
The building is also known as the Kızlarağası Beşir Ağa Sıbyan Mektebi (Primary School).
The building does not have a construction inscription; the fountain inscription on the courtyard wall gives the date A.H. 1150 / 1737–1738.
The building is two-story; the lower floor contains two vault-covered rectangular spaces, and the upper floor contains a rectangular-planned classroom in the east-west direction.
An asymmetrically planned courtyard is located to the south of the school; a fountain commissioned by its founder is situated on the courtyard wall.
The building is positioned in the same focal area as the Ali Fakih Mosque and takes its name from this close relationship.
