Changes After Construction

  1. Over time, it fell into ruin but was renovated to its original state in 1980.

Featured Highlights

  • The mosque has a square plan and stone walls, a wooden roof, and a projecting mihrab.

  • The minaret is made of thin bricks, and its cone is made of cut stone.

  • The tomb of the mosque's founder, Aşçıbaşı Ahmet Agha, is buried on the minaret side and is surrounded by a low wall. There is no inscription on the stone.

  • In the courtyard on the left side of the mosque, there is a well and a small ablution basin.

  • Behind the mosque ahead is the Aktürbe and to its left is the tomb of the famous miniature artist Levni.
