Prominent Features:
The structure was also known by the names Atik Valide Sultan Lodge and Karabaş-ı Veli Lodge.
The lodge was designed with the character of a madrasa plan; it has a porticoed courtyard arrangement surrounding the cells.
It functioned as a Şabaniyya lodge whose ritual day was Sunday.
In the porticoes surrounding the courtyard, a layout of 35 square-planned, domed cells is described; the octagonal base of the fountain at the center of the courtyard has survived to the present day.
Above the arched entrance gate is a poetic inscription that bears no date.
