Changes After Construction

  1. The church was consecrated and opened for worship on April 9, 1861.

  2. The building suffered major destruction and looting during the events of September 6–7, 1955.

  3. The church was fully restored and reopened on May 21, 1999.

  4. The Aya Konstantin Greek School building adjacent to the church was renovated in 2012 and converted into a guesthouse.
