- Changes after its construction:
  • The mosque, which had been burnt and ruined in recent years, was rebuilt in 1976 with reinforced concrete and a wooden roof, with the material and moral support of the community.
  • At the same time, the mosque’s mirror stone and fountain, made of cut stone and in classical style, were also repaired at that time.
- Prominent Features:
  • The concrete minaret has a single balcony on the right and its entrance is from the inside.
  • The entrance to the women’s gallery is from the narthex.
  • The mihrab, minbar, preacher’s pulpit and wall skirtings are covered with Kütahya tiles up to the top level of the windows.
  • It’s benefactor has fountains and public fountains in Tophane and Fındıklı.
  • Its founder, Silahtar Bıyıklı Mustafa Pasha, died while on a campaign and was buried on the island of Crete.
