Changes After Construction
It was renovated by Ismail Efendi in 1868.
It was brought to its present state with the repairs carried out by Hacı Şevki Efendi in 1893.
It was repaired with public assistance in 1966, 1975 and 1990.
Featured Highlights
It is a rectangular building, its walls are made of stone and brick, and its roof is made of wood.
Its squat, masonry, single-balconied minaret, built on a four-sided base, is separate from the mosque.
The interior walls of the mosque, which is entered from a small courtyard, are covered with paneling.
The mihrab is made of plaster.
Women’s gallery and muezzin’s gallery are made of wood. There is a narthex in the mosque.
There is an inscription on the side of the mihrab wall facing the street.
There is also an inscription bearing the date 1893 on its active fountain.
The adjacent primary school was demolished in 1930.
