  • By the beginning of the 20th century, the structure was among the endowed buildings that could be leased out.
  • The structure was used as a residence for a long period; this use increased the risk of alterations in the interior.
  • In 2015, its restoration was completed through a municipal implementation.
  • After the restoration, the structure was reopened for use.
Prominent Features:
  • The structure is also known as the Kazasker Ataullah Efendi Sıbyan Mektebi (Primary School).
  • The structure is single-storeyed over a high basement and has a rectangular plan.
  • The wall masonry is in an alternating arrangement with courses of cut stone and brick.
  • On the basement facade, there are rectangular window openings with iron grilles.
  • On the classroom floor, there are large window openings with arches above.
