Changes After Construction
The building was constructed in 1902 as Arnavutköy Greek School next to Aya Strati Taxiarchoi Greek Orthodox Church.
In reports prepared at the end of the First World War, it was recorded as a two-storey stone building with 12 rooms and a large garden.
It underwent a major renovation in 1947, and the wooden ground floor was rebuilt in masonry.
