Changes After Construction:
  • At its foundation, the structure was affiliated with the lodge organization of the Khalwatiyya Order; later it became a place for the guidance activities of the Qadiriyya and Sadiyya orders.
  • Repairs were carried out in the madrasa–lodge wing in 1970.
  • A restoration was implemented in 1975, and the structure was used as a Qur’an course.
  • Since 1970, the madrasa has been associated with use as a girls’ Qur’an course.
  • The structure has been used for cultural and artistic functions under the municipality.
Prominent Features:
  • The structure is part of a small complex that includes lodge and masjid/tevhidhane units together with the madrasa.
  • The classroom-masjid unit has a single dome and a square plan; there is no inscription in the madrasa section.
  • The madrasa/lodge cells surround three sides of the open courtyard in a U-shaped arrangement; the number of cells is given as 10.
  • The cells and the meşkhane were built of cut küfeki stone.
