Changes After Construction

  1. The earthquake of 28 June 1648 caused damage in some parts of the complex, including the madrasa section.

  2. There is a record of repairs in 1766–1767 following the fire of 1718 and the earthquake of 1766.

  3. Today, the structure is used as a study and event space under the name “Medrese Davutpaşa.”
