Changes After Construction

  1. It was completely burned in the Cihangir Fire in 1941, and only its mihrab remained standing.

  2. In 1990, its reconstruction began with the support of the Beyoğlu Mufti's Office and the Turkish Diyanet Foundation.

  3. It was rebuilt in accordance with the original and opened for worship in March 1991.
