Changes After Construction:
It was rebuilt in 1730 during the patriarchate of Patriarch Paisios II.
It underwent repairs in 1933 and 1960.
In the 1590s, the Patriarchate was transferred to the Aya Dimitri Church, and in 1612 it was moved to the Aya Yorgi Church in Fener.
It was announced that façade restoration work was carried out on the church courtyard wall by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB Heritage).
