Emine Muzaffer Hanım

Emine Muzaffer Hanım was the daughter of Cemal Bey, Director of the Galata Customs for Foreign Goods.

The Galata Emtia-i Ecnebiye Customs, where Cemal Bey served, was an important control point for the entry of foreign goods from Europe into Istanbul.

Emine Muzaffer Hanım’s father Cemal Bey also held the bâlâ rank and the Osmânî and Mecidî orders.

Emine Muzaffer Hanım, about whose life detailed information has not reached the present, died on Saturday, 8 Ramadan 1321 (10 September 1903), and was buried in the Fatih Mosque Cemetery.
