Fevzi Bey

Fevzi Bey, whose date of birth and family information have not been identified, was one of the officers who served in the Ottoman army with the rank of captain. In the Ottoman army, captain was one of the officer ranks carrying command responsibility at company level.

His grave in the Fatih Mosque Cemetery stands beside that of Lieutenant Sâmi Bey and was designed in the same form, suggesting that the two graves should be considered together. The existing information, however, does not show with certainty that the two military men were connected by kinship or by service in the same unit.
