Hadice Nebile Hanım

Hadice Nebile Hanım, whose date of birth could not be determined, was the daughter of Süleyman Faik Bey, former governor of Gümülcine sanjak and member of the Council of Finance.

Süleyman Faik Bey’s governorship of Gümülcine coincided with administratively active years in Western Thrace. In lists based on the salnames of Edirne province, the governor of Gümülcine sanjak appears between 1892 and 1896 as “Süleyman Bey.”

Süleyman Faik Bey later served in the Council of Finance and the Ministry of Finance.

Hadice Nebile Hanım died on 2 Rabi al-Akhir 1322 (16 June 1904) and was buried in the Fatih Mosque Cemetery.
