İbrahim Edhem Paşa

İbrahim Edhem Paşa, whose date of birth could not be determined, was one of the late Ottoman soldiers who rose to the rank of mirliva in the Ottoman army. Mirliva was the rank between miralay and ferik in the Ottoman military hierarchy and marked the beginning of the title of paşa; today it corresponds to the level of brigadier general.

İbrahim Edhem Paşa served as Commander of the First Brigade of the First Division of the Hassa Imperial Army. The Hassa Imperial Army was known in the Ottoman military organization as the First Army and was centered in Istanbul. The military order around the capital included units closely connected with the palace and the central administration.

Mirliva İbrahim Edhem Paşa died on 17 Jumada al-Akhir 1319 (1 October 1901) and was buried in the Fatih Mosque Cemetery.
