Mehmed Emin Efendi’s grave inscription was written by Mehmed Tevfik Bey, one of the well-known calligraphers of his period. Tevfik Bey’s signature is also seen on the Qur’anic inscription dated 1314 over the main gate of Gazi Ahmed Paşa Mosque.
