Rukiye Müjgan Hanım

Rukiye Müjgan Hanım, whose date of birth could not be determined, was the wife of Ferik Atıf Paşa, Commander of the Third Division of the Imperial Second Army.

Atıf Paşa was recorded among the graduates of the Military Academy as “Tophaneli Atıf Efendi.” He later rose to the rank of ferik and served as Commander of the Third Nizamiye Division of the Imperial Second Army. Ferik was a high rank in the Ottoman military hierarchy between mirliva and müşir; today it corresponds to the level of lieutenant general.

Rukiye Müjgan Hanım died in 1318 in the Hijri calendar (1900) and was buried in the Fatih Mosque Cemetery.
