Changes After Construction

  1. In 1767, its minaret was struck by lightning, after which it was rebuilt by Tıfli Mehmed Emin Efendi, who was appointed as the building supervisor by Sultan Mustafa III.

  2. In 1876, it underwent extensive repairs by Zeynep Hanım, the daughter of Kavalalı Mehmed Ali Pasha.

  3. In 1996, another restoration was carried out with the contributions of Imam Hacı Süleyman Bilir and the mosque community.
