Its construction began in 1910 and was completed on July 27, 1912.
The mansion adjacent to the mosque was dedicated as a legal aid to the muezzin andimam but became Koşuyolu Primary School in the 1953-54 academic year.
In 1957, the school moved to “Reşat Nuri Güntekin Primary School”.
The prayer area opposite the mosque has been turned into a park and the prayer stone has disappeared.

It is also known as “Civan Feridun Pasha Mosque” and “Feridiye Mosque”.
It has an octagonal plan and has windows on each side, so it has a structure thatreceives plenty of light.

The minbar is wooden and has a simple design.
There is an inscription containing a verse of the Quran on its door.
The interior walls are decorated with tiles up to the ceiling.
It is a building with a single minaret and a single balcony.
Between 1900 and 1920, on the street starting from İbrahimağa district and extending toTophanelioğlu, in Koruluk Mesiresi and Uzunçayır, old firemen used to organizeambitious races. In time, this was replaced by horse races. The horses of well-knowngentlemen used to race. For this reason, the road was named Koşuyolu.
