Changes After Its Construction:
Its minbar was placed by Kavaf Hacı Ibrahim Agha.
The school in its courtyard was built by Hacı Ömer Agha.
The mosque, which fell into disrepair over time, was repaired by the Monuments Association in
1954.
It was repaired once more by the public in 1965.
Prominent Features:
Also known as the “Zenbilli Ali Efendi Mosque”.
The mosque, whose walls are made of stone and brick, has a square plan, a roof which is
covered with tiles.
The minbar and the preacher’s pulpit are made of wood, and the mihrab is covered with
Kütahya tiles.
There are two long oval windows on each side of the mihrab on the right and left walls.
A gallery was built over the narthex.
There are women gallery and muezzin gallery.
The benefactor of the mosque is buried next to his school in Zeyrek.
