The structure served as a primary school under the name “17th School” in the Beyoğlu district in 1926.
In 1969, the Special Provincial Administration constructed a new school building on a 540 m² base area; the educational function continued in the new building.
During the 1969–1997 period, the historical structure was used under the name “Feriköy Practical Girls’ Art School.”
With the decrease in the number of students, the institution was closed; after being used for additional services within the Şişli Rüştü Uzel Girls’ Vocational High School, the structure was transferred to Feriköy Primary Education School.
In 1998, the historical structure underwent repairs and continued to serve alongside the main building.
In 2011, ceramic flooring work was implemented in the school building.
In 2020, an EBA Support Point, a kindergarten unit, and a botanical garden were opened on the school campus.
In 2021, the nursery class units were moved to the new building and the classrooms were renovated.

The structure was built in 1895 on a 300 m² area as a 2-story masonry brick school building with 8 classrooms.
In the records of the Monuments Board, the structure holds the status of a 2nd-degree historical building.
The primary school function continues on the campus today.
