The first architect is unknown. The reconstruction work carried out in 2014 was carried out by architect Yaşar Albayrak.

The mosque was severely damaged in a fire in 1915.
The ground floor was used as a place for prayer and ablution.
In 2014, with comprehensive reconstruction work, it was restructured in a wooden appearance and steel construction (brick cladding), unlike its original form.

The building is built of cut stone, and its roof is covered with tiles.
Its minaret is made of concrete and has a single balcony.
