Firuzağa Primary School
Changes After Construction:
- The building was constructed in 1931 by the Ministry of Education Construction Bureau for educational purposes under the name Firuzağa 12th Primary School.
- With the establishment of the Republic, a construction bureau was founded within the Ministry of Education in 1927 in order to expand education. The building is one of the 31 primary school buildings constructed within this scope.
Prominent Features:
- The building is also referred to in sources as Twelfth Primary School.
- The building has three storeys and was constructed with the masonry building technique.
- The entrance arrangement is recessed; the entrance staircase is single-flight.
- Above the entrance, there is a triple-window arrangement; the eaves arrangement is broad.
- Official records state that the architect of the Ministry of Education Construction Bureau, which commissioned the early Republican period schools, between 1927 and 1936 was Ernst Egli.
