Architect: Unknown
Prominent Features:
Originally a plain tomb in the 16th century, it was turned into a tomb in 1995 and became not only a visiting point but also a belief centre.
First, a small cemevi was added next to the tomb, and then a new dervish lodge building was built, with the ground floor serving as a soup kitchen and the upper floor serving as a cemevi.
Today, the Garip Dede Lodge is one of the four main centers that form the Alevi Associations Federation, together with the Karacaahmet, Şahkulu Sultan and Erikli Baba lodges.
Unlike the other three lodges, it is a new generation Alevi lodge that has no Bektashi lodge before.
It is a place of pilgrimage and has spiritual importance for the Alevi community.
