Changes After Construction
The school began its educational activities in the 1927-1928 academic year and produced its first graduates in 1932-1933.
At the time it opened, the school was known as "35th School / Kadıköy 35th Primary School"; in documents dated 1938 and 1940, it is observed that the school's name changed to "Gazi School."
In the 1992-1993 academic year, the school transitioned to "Boarding Primary School" status and continued in this status until the 2000-2001 academic year.
As of the 1997-1998 academic year, the 8-year education system was implemented; during this period, the phrase "Study and Nutrition" was used in the institution's name.
The structure is evaluated in sources among the early Republican period school buildings that have survived to the present day while largely preserving their originality.

The structure has also been referred to by the names "Kadıköy 35th Primary School," "Gazi School," "Gazi Mustafa Kemal Pasha Primary School," and "Gazi Mustafa Kemal Pasha Primary Education School."
The building consists of three stories including the ground floor and is arranged in a U-shaped plan.
There is an entrance arrangement from the first floor on the east facade and from the ground floor on the rear facade; the corridor layout extends in a north-south direction, and the stairs are located to the north and south of the corridor.
A rectangular window arrangement is seen on the ground and first floors, while pointed-arched windows are seen on the second floor; a hipped roof with wide eaves was used.
The mass composition emphasized by projections on the entrance facade and monochromatic tile applications (blue on the front facade, green on the rear facade) are presented as distinguishing elements.
