Changes After Construction:
  • The building was constructed in 1892 as a primary school (sıbyan mektebi) by Hacı Ali Rıza Pasha, chief steward (private secretary) of Sultan Abdulhamid II.
  • In 1923, it was transferred to the Ministry of Education and became Hacıalipaşa Primary School.
  • Restoration was carried out in 1983, and the building was rebuilt in 2008.
  • The historic structure is currently preserved in its original form with four rooms.
Prominent Features:
  • The school, currently operating under the name Hacı Ali Pasha Secondary School, is adjacent to a mosque built in 1886 by Hacı Ali Rıza Pasha.
  • Above the entrance gate, there is an inscription prepared in six horizontal lines detailing its foundation.
