Changes After Construction

  1. The building was constructed in 1892 as a primary school (sıbyan mektebi) by Hacı Ali Rıza Pasha, chief steward (private secretary) of Sultan Abdulhamid II.

  2. In 1923, it was transferred to the Ministry of Education and became Hacıalipaşa Primary School.

  3. Restoration was carried out in 1983, and the building was rebuilt in 2008.

  4. The historic structure is currently preserved in its original form with four rooms.

  • The school, currently operating under the name Hacı Ali Pasha Secondary School, is adjacent to a mosque built in 1886 by Hacı Ali Rıza Pasha.
