Featured Highlights

  • The structure is also written under the name “İdrisi Bitlisi Sıbyan Mektebi” (Primary School).

  • There is no inscription above the arched entrance gate.

  • The structure is fevkani and built of regular cut stone.

  • Its eaves are formed with cut-stone mouldings; its roof is timber.

  • The courtyard is entered through the arched gate; the classroom on the upper floor is reached by stairs.

  • The lower windows have marble jambs.

  • In the garden behind the structure are the graves of Ali Agha and his family.
