  • Unlike the old structure, walls were built on both sides of the front façade.
Prominent Features:
  • The walls of the mosque are built of cut stone and brick.
  • The mosque is a “fevkani” (elevated, upper-storey) and masonry structure.
  • It is known as the “Sarı Timurci Mosque”.
  • Its roof is made of wood and tiles, and it has one door at the top and one at the bottom.
  • Additions were made on both sides of the building, and the single-balcony minaret forms a protrusion into the narthex. Its cone has an onion body. The plastered additional parts of the minaret are immediately noticeable.
  • Its old walls are crafted with 2 rows of bricks and 1 row of roughly hewn stone.
  • The Quranic verse “Prayer is an obligation upon the believers at certain times” (Nisa, 103) is written in beautiful Arabic calligraphy above the lower door.
