It was restored by Fatih Municipality in 2018.
Prominent Features:
It is a rectangular planned, wooden roofed and masonry building.
It is also known as “Çukur Mescid” (Hollow Masjid).
Its walls are built of brick and rubble stone.
The narthex is under the main roof and the roof is covered with tiles.
Its hipped roof is covered with tiles.
Its single-balcony minaret was built in the lower eastern corner of the mosque.
The mosque, built on a sloping land, is reached by stairs.
It was revived after being on the list of lost mosques.
