Changes After Construction
It was built by Mustafa Efendi, a local benefactor who lived in the second half of the 18th century and was known by the nickname “Kaşıkçı.”
The sıbyan school campus, consisting of a classroom, a teacher’s room, and a small garden, was designed large enough to provide education to 50 students at the same time.
The campus, which lost its function and fell into ruin in later years, was revived by Fatih Municipality in 2004.
