Changes After Its Construction:
It underwent extensive restoration between 1970 and 1975
Over time, due to earthquakes, climatic conditions, and wrong interventions, its walls cracked, its minaret was dismantled, and it was closed to worship
There used to be a high school at the entrance of the mosque, but this structure was demolished over time
And reconstruction work was carried out by the Directorate General of Foundations, and it was reopened for worship.

It has the distinction of being the first masjid built in Çengelköy
