Changes After Its Construction:
  • It underwent major repairs after the earthquake in 1892
  • It was repaired again in 1927 and 2016
  • And the inscription above the large door states the repair date of 1927.
Prominent Features:
  • It is a building with a single minaret and two balconies
  • Its walls are made of stone, its roof is made of wood, and its mihrab protrudes outwards
  • The minbar is wooden
  • It is illuminated by the upper and lower windows
  • In its garden, there is a renewed fountain and a graveyard containing the magnificent sarcophagus of Abdullah Agha
  • There is a well with a pump in front of the courtyard gate
  • Next to the mosque, on the embankment, there is a tea garden today
  • And the tombstones are one of the finest examples of 15th-century Ottoman stonework, adorned with geometric patterns, small passionflower motifs, and Rumi ornaments.
