Changes After Construction

  1. It underwent major repairs after the earthquake in 1892

  2. It was repaired again in 1927 and 2016

  3. And the inscription above the large door states the repair date of 1927.

Featured Highlights

  • It is a building with a single minaret and two balconies

  • Its walls are made of stone, its roof is made of wood, and its mihrab protrudes outwards

  • The minbar is wooden

  • It is illuminated by the upper and lower windows

  • In its garden, there is a renewed fountain and a graveyard containing the magnificent sarcophagus of Abdullah Agha

  • There is a well with a pump in front of the courtyard gate

  • Next to the mosque, on the embankment, there is a tea garden today

  • And the tombstones are one of the finest examples of 15th-century Ottoman stonework, adorned with geometric patterns, small passionflower motifs, and Rumi ornaments.
