Changes After Construction
It was completely rebuilt after the earthquake in 1894.
The building was repaired, and some modern improvements were made during the restoration carried out in 2005.
Featured Highlights
It was built in the 19th century as the Ekşinoz Village Mosque.
It has a rectangular plan, almost square, and a hipped roof.
It was used as a health center during the Balkan Wars.
The minaret is small and plain, and next to it is a cemetery where those who died in the Balkan Wars are buried.
The building was built using cut stone and brick, and natural light was provided through round arched windows.
