No information about the original architect is available; however, it was built in accordance with the late Ottoman mosque architecture.

  • It was completely rebuilt after the earthquake in 1894.
  • The building was repaired, and some modern improvements were made during the restoration carried out in 2005.
- Prominent Features:
  • It was built in the 19th century as the Ekşinoz Village Mosque.
  • It has a rectangular plan, almost square, and a hipped roof.
  • It was used as a health center during the Balkan Wars.
  • The minaret is small and plain, and next to it is a cemetery where those who died in the Balkan Wars are buried.
  • The building was built using cut stone and brick, and natural light was provided through round arched windows.
