Changes After Construction
The mosque was revived during the reign of Sultan Mahmud II.
It suffered a fire in the early years of the Republic and was then restored.
The mosque was rebuilt in its current form in the early 20th century and its concrete decorations were renewed in 1990, taking its current form.

It is a two-story stone structure built on a 225 square meter plot. There are vaulted shop windows underneath.
