Changes After Construction
About 30 years after its construction, the surroundings of the structure acquired the character of a cemetery.
In the 1970s, the structure burned.
In 1995, it was restored within the scope of the Eyüp Sultan Mosque and Surroundings Conservation Project.
Today, the structure is used as the “Eyüp Sultan Youth Scout Group Clubhouse.”

The structure is also known as the “Mihrişah Sultan Sıbyan Mektebi” (Primary School).
The structure is the school unit of the Mihrişah Valide Sultan Complex.
The structure has an “L”-shaped plan; it has a double-pitched roof and alternating masonry.
There is no inscription on the arched entrance gate.
The structure has wall masonry of cut stone with brick bands.
