Changes After Construction
The structure fell into ruin over time.
The reconstruction process began in 1978, and the mosque was revived in 1979 with the minaret base preserved.
In 2005, a wooden minbar was installed, and the structure continued to be used as a mosque.
Featured Highlights
The names Mismarcı Şucaeddin Mosque, Ekserci Mosque, and Mismarcı Yusuf Şucaeddin Mosque are also used for the structure.
In the 1979 revival, the wall masonry is predominantly of rubble stone; the walls are encircled at the upper level by a reinforced-concrete tie beam/beam.
The harim ceiling has a flat concrete arrangement; the upper covering has a roofed composition.
Together with the son cemaat place, the mass measures approximately 9×15 m.
The minaret base remaining from the original structure is the main element representing the historical continuity of the building.
