In 1890 (Hijri 1308), the lodge was renewed by Abdülhamid II.
The tevhidhane building of the lodge burned down and disappeared in the 1930s.
The meşruta of the lodge was used for a time as the Tailoring Specialization School; later, it served as housing for tenants of the Directorate of Foundations.
Prominent Features:
In some sources, it was referred to as “Murad Efendi Lodge.”
It was founded as a lodge affiliated with the Naqshbandi order.
On the main gate are two inscriptions placed side by side; one of them gives the name of the founder and his date of death (1778 / Hijri 1192), while the other records the renewal carried out in 1890.
In the complex layout, the northwestern part of the plot was allocated to the library and its meşruta, while the southeastern part was reserved for the lodge units.
The lodge meşruta is a two-storey wooden dwelling; its upper floor was enlarged with a projection toward the courtyard.
