Survey, restitution, and restoration projects were prepared for the building in 2006; the implementation was recorded as “completed.”
In the foundation restoration yearbook, the building was listed as a “2011 / allocated” project.
The building was used for a period as a provincial association facility.
Featured Highlights
The building is also known as the Hazinedar Usta Mektebi.
Its inscription gives the date A.H. 1207 and states that the patron was a hazinedar.
The building is two-story and has a rectangular plan.
The school is entered through a marble gate with Baroque ornamentation opening onto the courtyard.
With its primary school, graveyard, and fountain components, the building forms a small waqf complex.
The fountain is dated to 1792.
