Nevfidan Kadın was one of the consorts of Sultan Mahmud II. She was born in 1793.
Although she bore children, none survived infancy. After the death of Zernigar Kadın, the biological mother of Adile Sultan, Nevfidan Kadın raised Adile Sultan as her own.
Following the death of Sultan Mahmud II, she went on pilgrimage to Mecca and returned to Istanbul in 1842.
Known for her charitable works throughout her life, Nevfidan Kadın passed away in 1855.

Nevfidan Kadın is buried in the section to the right of the entrance hall of Sultan Mahmud II’s tomb.
The tomb has a rectangular plan and is covered with a barrel vault. Its interior is notably simple.
The surfaces of the vault are adorned with naturalistic reliefs.
Alongside Nevfidan Kadın, the tomb also houses the consorts and children of Sultan Mahmud II and Sultan Abdülaziz.
