Nişancı Şehit Eyüp Beyazıt Primary School
Changes After Construction:
- The building was constructed on a plot donated by the Sufi Reisü’l-Küttap Lali Efendi.
- The historic structure was designed with four floors, including two basement levels, due to the sloping terrain.
- Still in use for educational purposes today, the building is situated within a 3,200 m² campus.
Prominent Features:
- The school, with historical roots in Eyüp 38th Primary School, currently continues its educational activities under the name Nişancı Eyüp Beyazıt Primary School.
- Eyüp Beyazıt, who gives his name to the school, was a soldier martyred in Hakkari in 1996.
- The building was constructed with a symmetrical façade and masonry technique.
- The land on which the school stands was donated by Lalizade Abdülbaki Efendi, a state official responsible for foreign affairs before the establishment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Ottoman Empire.
