Changes After Construction
It was built for educational purposes in 1930 in the Yeşilköy neighborhood of Bakırköy district.
In 2009, it underwent strengthening works and restoration with the support of a donor named Nüket Ercan.

The historical school, which also provided education under names such as 4th School, Yeşilköy Primary School, and Justice Vocational High School, most recently took the name of its donor and continues to operate as Nüket Ercan Commercial Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.
Mimar Yahya, the designer of schools bearing the characteristics of the First National Architectural Movement, was one of the most influential figures of the building period at the beginning of the 20th century.
The historical structure was built in a style that blended Ottoman and classical architectural elements with a Turkish architectural approach.
